It is impossible for you to visit Lubbers Quarters and not become part of the environment. The cottage is located on the West, relatively undeveloped side of the island. After you land on the dock, a short walk of 150 feet will take you to Retreat. The cottage is nestled in lush foliage atop a knoll and looks down on the water.
Retreat is not for everyone. It is by no means a luxury cottage. Retreat appeals to people that truly want to get away from it all, including telephones, TV, and conventional appliances. Retreat is a well kept cottage "base-camp" for launching your vacation adventures.
